  • BBC and bias

    Is the BBC biased.

    Bush praises Pakistan terror role

I read the headline, and wondered if it was a new Bushism or a parody of a BBC website. No.... Apparently, Bush praised Pakistan's role in the War on Terror, not on its role in terror.

Goof, bias or simply reading too much into a headline? Is the BBC a biased left wing liberal circus outfit?
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

    of course they are biased

    everyone is biased

it's a question of how much of that bias affects their reporting, whether or not they can remain objective

IMO, BBC is one of the best sources of news... and one of the sources that is as objective as possible

there is always going to be bias... as a reader, it's important to recognize this, take everything you read with a grain of salt, read as many sources as possible, and try to recognize bias when you see it.

Let's put the BBC in perspective compared to another "news" source.

Sure it has some bias, but I see it as one of the stations that hass less bias than most.
