  • What are you going to give up for Lent?

I know it's just another type of religious denial, but it's a great excuse to not visit Poly for a while.

Well it's either that or get myself banned...

So I'm giving up Poly for Lent. I know, it's supposed to be something difficult to do without but I've never had the best willpower...

What are y'all gonna give up?
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Personally, I've found New Year's resolutions to be better than giving things up for Lent. I gave up coffee as a New Year's resolution and decided to bike more. Both successful.

The problem with giving stuff up for Lent is that it's temporary. Better to make things permanent.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

        WooHoo, no Mobius for Lent

I'm giving up...nothing, really. or rather giving up nothing specifically for Lent...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

I was raised Catholic, but ever since I was 17, I had become a non-denominational Christian so I'm not giving up anything for Lent.
