      I recently spec'd a pc at Falcon Northwest . . . $13K.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Who needs a pc with such a layer of gold ? I mean, I can understand why people want gold handles in the bathroom, but who wan'ts a gold plated pc ????
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I got my new PC as well this week. Its a Gateway 2.8G dual core on a 975x Mo Board, 2GB of 667MHz RAM, GeForce 6600. Weighs 40lbs and just under $1300.
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)
                        2004 Presidential Candidate
2008 Presidential Candidate (for what its worth)

You'd get about the same at Alienware.

Yeah, I wonder about the weight as well. Aluminum is pretty light... it has to mean the entire packaging box, doesn't it?

I'd believe 75lbs if the monitor was thrown in. The speakers shouldn't add too much. Maybe its the free T-shirt?
