Berz, I go to sleep at 11pm or whatever, with pick #2 up, say, and then wake up and immediately go to work at 10 (leaving at 9) - and get back at 8 something, then make dinner and eat it. Thus, 10-11pm is when my pick'll be made that day, typically.

I'm not leaving a list of 6 possible players at 11pm, because that would take a good hour or more for me to come up with that many players, and the pick probably wouldn't be as good as if i'd made it myself (based on the recent picks). I'll leave a pick if I'm near, and it's just one or two possibles ... but not that far out.

If you want the picks made faster, set a faster deadline. I doubt you'd get a good game then, though, with so many BAPAYs... honestly I'd prefer a one-day draft, but that's just me. If you want to do a draft that's done in this way, deal with the 12 hour picks sometimes, and don't whine about it.

Why are you arguing this? You quote my "sigh" about Vlad and act like I'm getting on your case, I'm not in the mood for this

Its my ******* job to "whine", I'm the commish and I'm trying to keep the draft going. The 12 hour limit is especially lenient so we can avoid bapays and to accomodate people who cant be around to make timely picks every round due to life getting in the way, that doesn't mean everyone should just keep quiet when someone makes a habit out of delaying the rest of us.

Depends on how many at bats. You gotta have a certain number of ABs to not be considered a rookie.

Yes you did see him play but he still qualifies as a rookie, theres a max amount of at bats one can have and still qualify as a rookie, he didn't surpass it.

A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list).

Fielder appeared in 30 some odd games and had only 59 at bats.
