Trouble was, once the employer has financial dominion over every aspect of your life, you have no chance to advance yourself. You won't even be able to buy a condom.

Not far. The Supreme Court has, IIRC, ruled that 'private towns' can't ban free speech, because they are performing a traditionally public action (not entirely sure on the language, just know they can't). So he can't get away with banning non-contraceptive carrying pharmacies, but I guess he can ask them not too (depends on how heavy the pressure is on them).
Well if its his land and he decides to sell it to a pharmacy and makes the pharmacy sign a contract pledging not to sell them in order to get the land.... it seems like he'd be able to do it.

        It's "The Village"

But if people of like mind want to run their own community thats fine with me as long as they let people go thru if they want infrastructure linked.

heh, sounds like another one of those unsupported inventions by the courts.

            You don't vote for kings

Any pictures of his castle yet? I'm sure he'll want to look over his subjects.

DENNIS: What I object to is that you automatically treat me like an inferior!
            ARTHUR: Well, I am King!
DENNIS: Oh, King, eh, very nice. And how d'you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers! By 'anging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.
            ...
ARTHUR: Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!
WOMAN: Order, eh? Who does he think he is? Heh.
            ARTHUR: I am your king!

It depends a lot on the cook (and maybe owner). The 2 times I had Domino's they were far too greasy and weren't that great.

It's far enough from the water that it will only suffer wind damage.

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

When they said tomato fields, I immediately thought of Immokalee (big labor struggle there for the past decade, we recently won! ). Turns out, it is Immokalee.

Depends. After all, malls can't ban freedom of speech (ie, they can't prevent you from wearing an anti-war shirt), indicating that certain private property takes on public responsibilities. If there is a Florida law that requires pharmacies to sell contraception, then he can't prevent that. It may also be an unconscionable contract (certain things you can't contract for because they are so opposed to public policy).

Do you guard your tomato fields with fighter jets these days?

Is it possible to have heavy wind damage at that distance from the coast?

Absolutely, but it's water that generally causes the most damage and loss of life. Wilma struck Florida on the SW coast, but wind damage took out the three counties on the East Coast. We didn't have a lot of collapsing buildings, and no one died in the actual hurricane itself (afaik), but our entire power infrastructure was destroyed, and even now there are huge sections of Miami with blue tarp rooves.

Well freedom of speech is different, and I believe malls are as well since they were deemed to be public squares. A pharmacy doesn't meet that same criteria I don't think. Nor would that ruling apply to contraceptives.

However yes, if there is a Florida law about this specifically then yea, he'd be screwed. But I wouldn't think so.
