No, it's a connection. A connection is any sort of linkage: A has some sort of link to B.
A correlation is similar: A change in A seems to relate to a change in B.
On the other hand, the guy is suggesting causation, which is that A has caused B.Speaking of Erith:

Are you guys reading the same article I am? The nutcase is clearly saying that abortion and illegal immigration into the US have some sort of link... a connection by the definition I listed. For someone like this, real evidence is problematic, as it's facty, not truthy.
I'm not saying he's right--far from it. I'm just saying that this guy alleges a connection. That's it.Last edited by Q Classic; February 18, 2006, 07:13.B♭3

The Republican who ran for Senate last time around here in Arkansas (and got stomped...we're not stupid down here) claimed that abortion was causing the social security crisis. His argument made even a little more sense than this "Nathan Tabor" guy:
If there were no abortions, the aborted babies would have grown up to be tax paying members of society. If Social Security had that extra revenue, it would not be in a money "crisis".
Maybe they're running some kind of contest for the most outlandish theory to link a problem in America with abortion.meet the new boss, same as the old boss

this is to funny.
I am to assume this guy has all his facts together since he is so well spoken. I seem to like his positive attitude that all these aborted children would have been potential hard workers. I guess it never crossed his mind that at least 25 percent of these aborted coud be criminals and drains on the same american econmy that he claims is currently being drained by the illegal imigrants. I guess i can see this because i dont live in this la la land this guy apparently lives in.
But then again fairytails can come true rightWhen you find yourself arguing with an idiot, you might want to rethink who the idiot really is.
