LOTM - you have a point. Most scandinavians/north europeans would know it was BS, though some see DF as described.

It's worse with those that doesn't have enough knowledge - they might think it's a true description. Reading certain postings here at Poly, it seems that those people think that dane/muslim relation is something like serbian/bosniak relations.

is the danish party in question expected to stay within earshot of sanity? Thats not the impression I get from some posts. And, I must admit, most Americans dont really know the details of Danish political parties.

Oh, and quite alot of people expect the MB to be sane. Look at the threads on Iran, and you will see some posters find the (not quite) exclusion of MB a serious mark against Egyptian democracy, one as serious as the exclusion by Iran of parties that dont except the constitutional privileges of the Mullahs.

JP is a private entity, but they wouldn´t have published those pics if there weren´t already strong anti-muslim sentiments in the danish society. It´s no coincidence that a party like DFP has such a strong position...

I understand that you are confused, especially when you read postings like the two last from LC and Zoid. Only thing is that they both are walking around with their feets solidly planted in the air.

DFP is just as sane as any extreme leftwing party we have here in scandinavia - though that may not be seen as a recommendation.

DFP is sane, but racist. As a matter of fact DFP is probably saner than some of the extreme leftwing parties in Scandinavia. But would I rather live in a society ruled by the DFP than say the danish stalinists or crazy trots? I´m not sure. I think it would be equally bad...

Guilt by association. Its the same thing whether its a racist blaming muslims in general for the actions of some or EVEN OF MANY muslims, or blaming Danes in general for the sentiments of a few.
