  • Technical Problem

This is the ****ing error message I get when I tried to access Civilization III patches to download.

    File not found: /downloads_detail.cfm

    Please try the following:
Enable Robust Exception Information to provide greater detail about the source of errors. In the Administrator, click Debugging & Logging > Debugging Settings, and select the Robust Exception Information option.
Check the ColdFusion documentation to verify that you are using the correct syntax.
Search the Knowledge Base to find a solution to your problem.

    Browser Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
    Remote Address 12.217.136.39
    Referrer http://apolyton.net/between.php?url=...3Ffile_id%3D58
    Date/Time 13-Feb-06 10:05 PM

So where do I go, to access Administrator as the instructions advise me to do?

And what is this ColdFusion ****?

    Thanks for any help.

It means you've got the virus that mass-mails porn to your contact list...

Seriously Asher -- have you ever seen an error message like that before? It's what I get when I click on the English version patch after I have clicked on the Patch link from the Civ III website.

                It's a server-side problem.

Tell Firaxis they are idiots, and tell Agathon that too.

Is this your serious, helpful answer?

                    Get Civ4.

I don't have a 22nd century computer that would have enough memory and processing speed so that I can enjoy a full game with maximum numeber of civs on a huge map.

People have been playing this game with older PC's for a while now.

                        What are your specs?

Civ has been the driving force for my personal computer ownership. The release of Civ II prompted me to buy my first PC (we had one in the family, but it was a family computer, which meant my wifes )

The release of Civ IV "forced" me to buy a new state of the art machince so I could run it... making it the most expensive game I have ever bought
                          Keep on Civin'
