This thread is primarily for those who have participated in one of the pools I've run on Apolyton over the years (NFL, NCAA college hoops, and most recently Academy Awards), but if you've played one of these types of games before elsewhere and would like to help me out with some input, I'd much appreciate it.
I've grown rather frustrated with the limitations of some of the free sites I've used for running these pools over the years (the most maddening being the lack of playoff play for the NFL pool) and in cases where I haven't used a service (like with the Oscars pool), it's very much a headache to do this all manually each and every year. (This was very much evident by the lack of quality to the NFL pool this year, with missed weeks and the lack of team play.)
So, armed with the knowledge of more time in my life in the future (due to my impending graduation from college this spring) and my recently amped-up knowledge of PHP & mySQL from taking over administrative duties at a Survivor fansite late last year, I'm ready to take a big step, and create a new dynamic site to run all my pools in one place. I'm hoping to have enough of it functional by the end of August so I can get the NFL pool off of Sportsline in time for its eighth year.
What I'm interested in hearing from you guys are a couple of things:
And just as a postscript, I will put the Oscars pool up later this week (most likely sometime on Wednesday). It'll be run in a fashion similar to last year's, but I'm open to change as to how to handle it since it's new compared to the other two.

What I'm interested in hearing from you guys are a couple of things:
- I want to come up with a new name for the site that isn't so specific to football, since I want to be able to run all kinds of pools on it. Something exciting and catchy would be preferable, as well as something short enough so that the URL for the site isn't a book. Frankly, I've got no ideas as far as this is concerned, and I'm ready to listen to any and all suggestions.
- I'm also interested in knowing what kind of features you'd be looking for on this site. I've got all the obvious things in mind (unified login, message boards, one-click pool entry), but as to the more specific things, I want to know what you guys' preferences are. No suggestion will be shot down.
