    It's still disturbing that they will be collating information together to create semantic 'memes' and even track individuals posting in different sites, under different pseudos.

    What it shows is that if they didn't do it before, it was not out of a concern for privacy, but simply because they didn't have the technology. Which goes a long way in predicting what could eventually happen, as the monitoring technologies improve.
