  • Any fans of Megadeth here?

    Hi!

I just got the last album from Megadeth: "The System Has Failed".

Pretty good albums, I find it as the best one since "Countdown to Extinctions". (Maybe TSHF is even better than countdow, but not better than Rust In Peace)

So, for any fans of Megadeth, who doesn't bothered to listen this album. Give it a try!

    See ya,

Yep. They broke up two, three times.... since 10 years.
But David always find a way to reform the band.

Dave Mustain is the biggest whiner in metal. But "Rust in Peace" is a damn good album!

TSHF is a great album, on par with "Cowntdown" for sure. I am looking forward to their next one.

It's been awhile since I checked them out. I'm a big fan of "Cryptic Writincgs" CD. I've got an autographed copy.

Loved the first few albums. Things went downhill for me after [i]Rust In Peace[i].

NIce That's my favorite album with Countdown coming in second. Risk sucked.

I might check it out...is there anyone other than Dave left in the band from the last album?

Chris Poland, who is most notable for playing on the "Peace Sells..." album played lead guitar on the newest album. He was just there for studio work, however. There are all new members in the band now.

I downloaded the songs. Kick the chair and blackmail the universe are about the only decent songs. it's an attempt to return to older megadeth. But the songs just don't have that special *oomph* to them. Nothing really sets them apart.

It is interesting they used Chris Poland, as Peace Sells is probably my favourite album from them. But sometimes bands just can't put out music like the old days.

And in some cases, drugs and alcohol improved their music. I also think lots of cheap women also helped. When Dave Mustaine from Megadeth and James Hetfield from metallica got married, things started to go downhill. Marriage
