  • I'm a clever guy but I'm really stupid

Is anyone else out there like this?

I don't seem to be able to solve problems very well, they annoy me, in their traditional ways or 'we do it just because we can' moments.

I don't like to solve a system of equations with more than 3 variables, I tend to either walk away or sit back and I won't do the math, unless asked to, but because I don't like 'logic' I usually put an end to the calculation in less than 1 minute; by using my small brain.

Don't get me wrong, I am extremely intelligent and smart, but from a distance. I don't like to solve theoretical problems, so I make a fool of myself.

My girlfriend believes there is something wrong with me. but she is a physicist, and I would expect that from her, what do you think?

I don't believe you have a girlfriend for one minute

Oh, she's just there for the one thing. But because we can't get along on a personal level, I'll dump 'er.

        And wait for something real.

          "You're"

Which reminds me, I have a streak of extreme pedantry - I've been walking around the lab recently correcting people's awful spelling on signs

(for all those too lazy to notice )
"You are one of the cheerleaders for this wasting of time and the wasting of lives. Do you feel any remorse for having contributed to this "culture of death?" Of course not. Hey, let's all play MORE games, and ignore all the really productive things to do with our lives.

so would I be a foolish guy but I'm really intelligent?

cause I can (and like) solving theoretical math and physics problems..

(now actually doing division or subraction is boring, and I hate doing it, but that is something different)

however, I say the wrong thing, or get mixed up about really simple things (like about whether my stove is electric or gas.. I ran out of the hosue, got a lighter, and then slowly advanced through the house flicking the lighter on (after I had opened all the windows) because I thought I had accidently let a lot of gas into the room)
