  • Is the word "bastardize" insensitive to illegitimate children?

    Example.

"Corrupt" is a superior and less offensive alternative, IMO.

      "Corrupt" is offensive to politicians.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

Actually, I could get in trouble with the feds if anyone finds the word 'bastardize" ANNOYING.

I find people bereft of humour annoying.

I find MrFun absolutely wonderful, and am wondering to whom you could be referring.

I had a friend of mine, who is illegitimate, call me on my use of the word "bastard." I agree. It should not be used as a perjorative term.

People rarely use the word in it's original meaning anymore, so no.

Loins example is inherently flawed as it is nigh impossible to weigh whether one is being offended by the use of bastardization or simply Mr Fun.

I have no problem with "bastardize."

"Poppycock," however, is extremely offensive to roosters with heroin addictions.
