You could get a PCI card, or they have wireless USB devices... the latter are cheaper. I'd recommend one of those, unless you need the higher speed. Then get a PCI card.Originally posted by Barinthus

Yeah, you would need a router in your room. You can also install the new cable to the room but that will cost you a lot. I would suggest you contact Charter Cable Internet. They will give the FREE Wi-Fi router with the existing cable installation. So you don’t have to think about paying separately for the modem.Comment
