Isn't it double jeapardy to bring a federal case against us after we've already been sentenced to Mingapulco?

Although, everyone who has annoyed me with the outrageous lie that I lack a sense of humor should be very nervous now.

The Feds have their priorities straight when it comes to dumb attempts to curtail freedom of speech.

public Ku Klux rallies -- that's fine and dandy

annoying someone over the Internet -- atrocious!!!

I know little about this area of the law, but the quote from the ACLU and the original House version seem to suggest that other anti-harassment laws use stricter language than "annoy", so it's not clear how much it would take to prove "intent to annoy".

Hmmm, this could even work on messages over the telephone.

Better to allow the former than the latter, frankly. KKK rallies are always political speech.

I dont care for the vagueness of words like "intent to annoy", its too open to selective, ie political prosecutions. Its like "community standards" and "obscentiy". Could Pat Robertson be prosecuted for violating some community's standards? No, its an ideologically based law.

Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?
