Well, there are just two possibilities. Either I'm unable to deal correctly (which I don't think ) with the thing (it's a dvd-player/vcr combi I got as xmas present) or the dvd part really is defective after only some weeks.
It just stopped (yesterday) from one day to the other to read dvds (says "no disc" all the time when I insert a dvd). Before it worked all fine. Now, the discs in question were video dvds of movies like those you can buy at Amazon etc. (no copies), and they were read on another unit without any probs. The other reason mentioned in the manual for not reading a disc would be wrong/different regional code of player and disc, but that wasn't the case as well.
Any ideas if there's another thing I could have done wrong? (I can't believe that it's kaputt after that short time). However, since the unit is quasi new it still has warranty, so I don't have to spend money when they have to fix it/change it, I just want to know if there's anything else that could cause the prob before I bring it back.
