Alt's a lot better than Kolsch, to my tastes. Capital City Brewing has both a Kolsch and an Alt on tap. But best of all is the Porter.
I've never seen Capital City beer. Is it a brew pub?
I don't have much experience with Alt beers. The only kind I've ever had was Frankenheim Alt, and that was 3 or 4 years ago.

I have a question for the board's resident Germans:
Do any of you live near Dortmund or Soest? If so, are you familiar with the Möhnesee? I'm tracking some of my German ancestry, and I think that I've located one of my ancestral towns. It's a tiny village near the Möhnesee named Bittingen, and it's right beside a larger town named Ense. Do any of you know where I could go to find more out more about the town? I'd greatly appreciate any info that youcould provide me. Danke.

Unfortunately I am of no big help here - never have been in that region......

Where ya headed?
It will be our first trip to Germany, so were taking a big tour around the country. We'll be hitting the major tourist attractions, stopping by most of the major cities, and basically just getting a taste of the country. If we enjoy this trip, we'll make subsequent visits to further explore specific locations.

Yeah, and I've always believed that Königsberg is the ideal place to start a tour of Germany.

I personally (not coming from Düsseldorf or Köln, but living near both cities) prefer Alt, as it has a much stronger taste than Kölsch.

If Italians are classed as white, why aren't spaniards, they look the same as Italians
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Spaniards would be classified as "white." The "Latinos" that aren't "white" are most of the Spanish speakers from Central and South Americans, the ones who are descendants of Spaniards and Native Americans.
