Chicago new fattest city - Sava cited as reason

New fattest city rankings are out. Chicago is 1, and Las Vegas is 2.

These are calculated fairly poorly....it has nothing to do with weight but what is in the city (parks and resturants). It doesn't even factor in how much business these places get though, or the size. Thus, Houston's giant Memorial Park that has thousands of people using it every day counts the same as a small neighboorhood park.

yeah the number of strippers and whores in my city surely ensures that we aren't number 2 fattest city. I'm certain of it. Sure we have a few fat strippers and whores, but not many.

And Baltimore as the fittest city. . They also used to be the city with the highest STD's. Interesting combination.

MidWest has to be the most unfit region. Ppl here seem to either be huge or skinny, not much inbetween. I blame it on the fact that everyone here seems to think food is better if deep fried and on a stick

I'm tall and skinny. Does that mean I'm reducing Leeds' chances of featuring on such a list for Britain? What a shame.

The reality about my city is we are kind of fat (strippers and whores aside)

There's a pretty large white trash and hispanic population. Actually the mexican girls are skinny when they are young, but then they grow, and grow. And the white trash population is extremely fat, with exception of the meth addicts.

But we are a city that thrives on drinking and eating. So this should come as no surprise. But really in terms of the middle and upper class. We really aren't that fat. At least compared to the midwest which has already been mentioned above.

It's mostly the poor people who are fat. This is the reason why I laugh when people say people are dying of starvation in the U.S. While it is true I haven't been to all areas of the U.S. At least in my city, the poorer you are, the fatter you are.

Another thing, Arlington is smack in the middle of Dallas and Ft Worth, which are both in the fattest list. This shows it doesn't really take into account the surronding area of the cities.

I'm out in the Burbs..

and since September, I've actually lost about 15 lbs...



I'm around 235 lbs now
