  • Japan's attitude towards America?

I am curious about Japan. I've kind of developed an infatutation with them as of late. However, if they are anti-American pacifists like Europe that will kill my infatuation very quickly. What is the overall attitude of Japan towards the US? Government attitude? Are they like Britain where the government is US friendly but the people are rabidly anti-American? Also, what is Tokyo like? I'd like to visit there someday maybe.

no they aren't anti-american pacifists, but they still hate you. Just like the rest of the world.

Japan loves America, in every way you can imagine.

              ...

...and in a few ways you can't.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

The British public is not "rabidly anti-American" we are just able maintain a healthy level of cynicism on certain matters that eludes you,

Cynism? So I guess some of your wonderful specials on the BBC about how America lives in poverty are cynism on matters that elude me? Europe is a powerless relic that is more of a hindrence to America than a help. Your people are weak and your pacifist liberal antics will be your downfall as muslims become the majority of Europe. Here's to an Imam on every corner and the continued celebration of the wonders of multiculturalism!

I have read your teacher thread but that really tells me nothing, however I find it really weird.
