My brother in law worked at the NSA back in the 70's and had access to the sealed files. When asked who shot Kennedy, he just smiles and says, "You will be amazed." IIRC, the files are due to be unsealed in 2013...50 years after the investigation.

you can all scoff but Oswald was a very interesting guy - worked in secret US sig ops and then lived in the Soviet Union - not many people can say that - I'm always surprised the Soviet/Cuban angle isn't taken more seriously.

I don't buy the lone gunman theory for a second.

For those who think Russia/Cuba were involved, one needs to consider several things:

How could they get Oswald to take Russian language studies (while he was in the Marines and is documented by his Marine records), get him to resign from the Marines, get him to Russia, and then, several years later, bring him back into the USA. This last point is troubling since, as a defector, Oswald should NOT have been permitted back into the US, yet, he had NO trouble whatsoever...

Also, how could Russia/Cuba change the Presidential motorcade so that it would make that slow turn onto Elm Street in front of the Dealey Plaza (in which Oswald had been placed just months before)?

BTW, for those who are interested, there were TWO Cabal brothers: One Cabal brother was the Mayor of Dallas at the time of Kennedy's shooting. The other Cabal, was General Cabal, who had been fired by Kennedy after the Cuban Bay of Pigs fiasco...

Oswald may have acted alone but there is so much to the guy that says otherwise - he rings huge alarm bells with me, almost uniquely

Let's also consider the environment surrounding the kennedy assassination:

* it was 1963 and racial hatred filled the air throughout the US, but especially in the south

* hate groups continually rallied against Kennedy's policy of integration, and in Dallas at the time, there were leaflets calling for Kennedy's murder

* the parking lot (which contained the grassy knoll) that the President's motorcade passed in front of, belonged to the Dallas Police Department

* According to Paul Rowland Jones, an underworld crime boss, George Butler (who joined the Dallas Police Department in 1946, was later Supervisor in the Intelligence Unit of the Dallas Police, and in 1959 was the first President of the Dallas Police Association) told him that 50% of the Dallas Police Department were also members of the Ku Klux Klan.

* it should be recalled that there were many racial murders in the south, and after Kennedy's death, both Martin Luther King and his brother Robert Kennedy were also assassinated

Robert Kennedy was assasinated in Los Angeles.
