Yes, and the devil is in the details. How does RI continue a war on pot with medical exceptions? Supply the sick with pot? Allow licensed "pot clubs" that can easily be traced by the Feds and shutdown? Does the new law require a doctor's prescription and will the handful of doctors willing to become targets of the Feds have state protections against losing their licenses?
RI is small, its the big western states that really "tax" federal resources when they decide to stop waging pot wars. As more states get on board the peace train, the war on pot will become a federal skirmish to stop the flow across the border.Comment
