Obviously Battlefield Earth belongs in a special category, it transcends bad SF and vies for 'worst any category' so it should be disqualified.

Same thing for old SF, where bad is now good in an MS3TK-eque way (example, the 'Giant Claw', 'Plan 9', etc)

          So of recent:

ST: Enterprise. Always hated this, I think it's just the main actor I loath.

          ST: Voyageur: Mostly crap

I actually don't like the Stargate series and have never been able to watch a whole episode, but I know it's popular...

Buffy rip-offs: i.e. angel, supernatural, etc etc etc...

Does anyone remember the awful Wing Commander game adaptation? I felt sorry, like heartache, at the roles the old Das Boot dude is reduced to these days.
          "Wait a minute..this isn''t FAUX dive, it's just a DIVE!"
"...Mangy dog staggering about, looking vainly for a place to die."
"sauna stories? There are no 'sauna stories'.. I mean.. sauna is sauna. You do by the laws of sauna." -P.

            Hmmm....

Anything based on a video game, like Wing Commander...

            Damn, already mentioned!

Bad Sci Fi books, too many to name. I would say more than half of those produced.

As for TV, I don't know, BUck Rogers and the 25th century was one.

              - Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica (original), Manimal, Lost in Space, Lexx
              - First two seasons of TNG
              - Much of Voyager
              - Maybe Time Trax

And the worst piece of Sci-Fi I can think of:
              - The Voyager episode where two of the crew turn into fish and have sex because they travelled faster than the speed of light.
"I read a book twice as fast as anybody else. First, I read the beginning, and then I read the ending, and then I start in the middle and read toward whatever end I like best." - Gracie Allen

Actually, they were amphibian-things and they'd travelled at the fabled Warp 10 = infinite speed. They occupied all points in space, everywhere, simultaneously. And you're right, that had to be by far the worst episode in the history of sh*t episodes.

                      I dunno...

there's lots of stuff that just "isn't good"... but there's very few things that have been so bad that I would say ZOMFG THAT IS JUST AWFUL...

the "romance" scenes from Star Wars Ep2... everything involving the drama between Anakin and Padme... that is just AWFUL

                      Jar Jar Binks is AWFUL

hmmm I don't care for the original Battlestar Galatica... but for it's time I guess it was okay

I dunno, most of the stuff I don't like is basically characters or parts of movies, but not actual movies themselves.

And stuff like Battlefield Earth, even though it was not good at all, it still was funny because it was bad...

And for people that don't like ST: Voyager... I don't understand this... if you are a fan of the series, how can you like TNG and DS9, but not like Voyager? I've got every episode of TNG, DS9 and VOY... I've seen every one.

Of those series... there are good ones and bad episodes... but Voyager, overall, I think has the best story lines... but I certainly don't see how Voyager is worse than the other two Star Trek series encompassing that time period in the Star Trek universe.

I can understand if people don't like Enterprise... it wasn't my favorite ST, but I still watched it and enjoyed it at times. But Voyager? C'mon people... that was some of the best Star Trek...
To us, it is the BEAST.

I didn't hate Voyager; I rather liked it, but come on. "Some of the best Star Trek" ? :vomit:

Voyager had the best storyline, no doubt. TOS > VOY > TNG > DS9 (although my experience with DS9 is limited...I really didn't like any of the characters there. VOY had a great cast, and TNG got there eventually after a bit.

Star Trek isn't about storyline. Star Trek is about Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

DS9 is by far the BEST of the Trek Series, because it wasn't an episodic, hey look at the new humanoids with different ears we found! but instead could create a more complex and deep storyline.

Voyager had a cool premise, but the execution was awfull.
