  • I have Zagorila Super band beer!

From Bulgaria as well as Lithuanian made porter. FYI the Lithuanian beer is lower in alcohol and less flavorful then your average American porter though the Bulgarian beer is sold so cheaply though that someone can sing its praises without being ***** slapped.

All in all not to bad. Not inspired mind you but I've just paid $9.99 for American made stout which comes in 1.9 pint bottles. This has sharpened my appreciation for inexpensive beer. The bgulgarina beer passed the drunken taste vs cost test and I recomend it to everyone.

It is from the Zagorka Brewery of Bulgaria. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

I do have a campaign bottle full of Corsendonk Abby Brown Ale from Belgium. Not bad stuff.

          Corsendonk is good.

I also tried Flying Horse Royal beer from Taloja, Maharashtra, India. It was as bland and uninspired as you'd expect an Indian beer to be. Weihenstephaner Original Premium Lager was much better and they claimed to be the world's oldest continually operated brewery though tops of the night have to go to Hoegaarden whose Beligian white ale has, as always, delivered.

One of my roommates has bought a case of Andre California Sparkling Wine (nee Champaigne) which isn't bad but tastes like the discount priced bubbly it is. Still, considering the price it is a good value.
