Well, I used to have the same problem a few months ago, back when I still was in Stuttgart. Seeing her while I was heartbroken was the suck. When I left Stuttgart, I made it clear that we were not to re-contact again before I initiate the re-contact on my own terms. It was a most excellent idea, even though I miss her
