    How many of us here have a good chance of having snow on the ground Christmas morning?

    We may still have some around although the temperatures are due to be over freezing from now through to Monday. I don't see any precipitation in the forcast so any white Christmas is not likely to be new snow

      I have pretty much zero chance of having a white christmas. Britanny has a gulf-streamese mild weather all year long, and I'll spend my christmas on the seaside, where there won't be any land to offset the oceanic effect.

      OTOH, I'm very happy about it, I hate snow

        I don't think there's much of a chance for it here in Denmark this year.

        The criteria for a white Christmas here is that at least 90% of the country must be covered by at least 0.5 cm (0.2'') of snow on 24 December in the afternoon.

        By this definition, we've only had a white Christmas 7 times since the year 1900. And only 3 times in my lifetime, 1969, 1981 and 1995.

        So statistically less than 7% chance of a white Christmas. This year's forecast looks as if it won't happen this time around either.

            Low 80's yesterday. 70's today. Only snow will be the build up of frost in the freezer.
