I go for both but I graviate more toward tea especially when I'm sick or suspect I'm about to become sick

Tea... multiflavored, no sugar or other additives.

Coffee is an international socialist conspiracy to turn the once thriving middle classes into mindless self-mutilating zombies.

Coffee. No cream, no sugar. Just coffee. And keep it comin'.

I like water. So long as it's hot and has passed through ground coffee beans.

                Coffee.

People who exclusively drink tea (in any form) are generally smarter than coffee drinkers.

you do realize most teas have caffeine in them, right?

Coffee first thing in the morning, and also when working for an after lunch boost of energy.

Tea mid morning and evening, and Moroccan mint tea in summer.

I think it's an anecdote from Claudia Roden's wonderful book, 'Coffee':

A Prussian officer having seized a town in France during the Franco-Prussian War, was desirous of a cup of coffee for himself and his fellow officers. He ordered the mayor to bring him all the supplies of coffee beans and chicory in the town, and set them out in two separate piles.

"Very good," he says to the mayor, when he has complied with the general's request.

The officer points at the pile of chicory-

"This is all you have ? Good. Now burn it, and be good enough to make some fresh coffee for us."

                              By Claudia Roden

This delightful and practical book covers the beginnings of coffee and the coffeehouses of Europe and the Near East. Different types and blends, roasting, grinding, methods of preparation, and recipes are explained.
