Any journey you can cycle you can drive. Come on, be more lazy.

          Actually...

It would be far more hassle, would take longer to get there, plus finding and having to pay for parking - and I'm more of a tight bastard than a lazy one...

I was hoping for snow this xmas - i've been finding myself getting into the mood of it this year for some reason? Still i think London has been too cold when its got below zero, so we probably wont have any.

Ah yes it was my journey to the west country last month and all the snow drifts - thats what got me feeling all white christmasy

I'm not looking forward to my cycles home these next few days..........it was getting frosty under wheel last night.

I don't care. I'm off to France skiing for Christmas week so I really hope it's cold enough there.
The current conditions, and forecasts, are excellent.

The colder it gets, the happier I am.

Bring it on baby. I didn't survive winters in Canada to let England stop me.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
                      -Richard Dawkins

Should I mention that the high in downtown Los Angeles today was 80 F? Naw, that'd just be cruel.

The British Isles getting really cold in the winter is in fact one results of global warming.

It's been pretty cold here for the last week, with highs around 15-20f (one day the high was 7f) and lows in the single digits or below zero. Fortunately it's warming up today and should be in the 50s for highs for the next week.
