I've never been in any Fantasy sports leagues before, and you were the one to organize this league, and it just seems kind of ****ty for you to quit it.

from what I read, (Since I was out of the loop for Christmas,) Asher changed the rules without everyone's advices. If it was for his own gains or not, is to be debated, and found out about. NYE called Asher on it, they agured, Asher had a fit, and Asher quit, yes? I re-read the thread just to make sure. I think everyone should know just exaclty what happen, and then move on. Everyone involded should explain themselves.

One thing I have trouble finding is, where was this debate about changing the rules? I couldn't find it. Does anyone have a link to it?

With EmpFab, Ben and Imran inactive or close to it, this league was already becoming less fun - and this definitely tips the scale.

If Asher doesn't return, I don't know if I'll continue putting in the same effort.

I'd like to recognize the following contributions:

To The Flamers for setting it all up - it can be tough being a 1st time Commish.

To Road Kill for possibly the best draft - Hasek and Jagr - who knew?

To those (you know who you are) who went inactive or just gave up.

To people (you know who you are) who let what should be good-natured sports trash talk turn into ugly personal attacks.

To Haunted House Boos for sticking with it and putting forth his best effort.

for the record, the only thing I did in this thread (and every other NHL thread) was insinuate that Asher was a crybaby for quitting... (which I think was reasonable under the circumstances)...

I want to make it PERFECTLY CLEAR, that nowhere in this thread or any other NHL thread did I ever personally attack Asher before he quit... EVER... You can go back and read the threads if you don't believe me. I never called him any names... nothing... the only thing I insulted was the Calgary Flames pathetic team, and how they would suck without Kiprusoff

I just checked the rosters... Asher's team is back to normal...

I hope so, because I'm enjoying this league very much... and YES... DONT MAKE ME SAY IT... but if you leave it would just not be as much fun...

It was not for my own gain, if you look at the transaction history for November 4th through 7th you'll see the rules changed on the 4th but I still had to wait for my trade on the 7th, as it was done before the rule changed.

I talked about it in the thread first, 4/4 people immediately said it was a stupid rule and I agreed, so I changed it.

nye was full of it, if I wanted to manipulate it to my advantage I could have cancelled the existing trade request and sent a new one out after the new rule was in effect to have it be instant. But no, I waited the 2 full days as was the rule when I made the trade.
