Uh....what? I'm Orthodox, and we have no "Black Madonna." We don't even use the term Madonna (our equivalent is Theotokos, "God-bearer"). If you're refering to icons, please educate yourself about their theology. They're physical representations, and venerated as symbols of what they represent, but nobody ever poured a libation for an icon, or considered it to be anything more than a consecrated chunk of wood. See also the conclusion reached by the seventh ecumenical council re: iconoclasm.

By father it's also mean; having a special relationship with something and or someone, sharing the some of the attribute of your father, having the spark of the "Spiritus Sanctus"; knowing that your parents are not the one who are giving life to you, but your holy father. Like Khalil Gibran said beatifully:

The concept of father refers to your familly, and in this way, if you think God as your father, your familly is pretty big enlarged.
