    BAREBACK MOUNTED
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Can't wait for religious fundies to be "morally" outraged by this movie, while neglecting to carry out a crusade against movies that portray violence between men. In their view, love between men is more morally repugnant than violence between men.
I don't think it's going to happen. If it hasn't happened yet, it won't. (though perhaps if it wins the oscar).

People are acting like this is a revolutionary film. It's not even close to being the first film about gay men. There were 80's films that did this.

I'm aware of the past films, Dis.

There were also more recent films such as the Birdcage, In & Out, Making Love, and so on.

But given the backlash against gays with anti-gay amendments in the November 2004 election, Brokeback Mountain is more daring than it would have been, during, say a high point of acceptance of gays.

Comic book movies are all f*cking terrible, without exception. The issue is the premise of a COMIC BOOK.

I grew out of those when I was 5, it amazes me Americans flock to see that sh*t.

It was a good flick. The only really silly part was them pouring the stuff in the pipes. I really had to laugh at loud at that.

I heard somewhere recently that the fundies are deliberately not organizing against this movie, because they don't want to call attention to its existence.

Of course, now that its garnering awards and thus getting attention anyway, they may change their tune.

I suppose that makes 'The Accused' a heterosexual film.
