We've found a new apartemnt, at the same streat. It has some faults...: the washing machine isn't working... nor is the telephone... Fridge acts like a big freeser... there's a problem with the tap in the bathroom... pipes leak in the kitchen etc. But it's a big apartement, my room is nice and big and I even have my own balcony apart from the common one. It did cost us more money, though.Originally posted by Az

I must admit its citizens annoy me sometimes, though.
I'm also worried about the guy at the internet café having to ask a "commission" (again) to get new keyboards.
I was refering to my first post.

Syria's quite a decent country. I was suprised by good quality of its road and in general by how modern it is.hahaha after reading all these messages my thought was too 'must be in Syria or other crap country'. Turns out it was
I don't think Syria supports terrorism... Not to mention islamic terrorism. Remember Muslim Brothers? They had an uprising here once. The gouverment crushed it. Thousands of dead and Hama's old town utterly destroyed, but at least there's peace. Remmber that the country is ruled by a socialist party created by Christian and the current ruler and the most important figures are all alawits... It's absurd to think they'd support kinds of Zarkawi or UiL. When it comes to what happened in Lebanon, while I may have some doubt about Syria's earlier performance there, I doubt the assasinations were Syria's fault. Syria know too well it's in danger. I don't think it'd risk anything like this.Maybe we can send them some Enter-buttons after they give up terrorism.
When it comes to the money matter, I'm thousand miles away and I can't punch anyone. I'd get angry, but I keep in mind I was suggested by some I could work in this institute after the end of my studies. I don't want to make people my future work (blurry as it is) may depend on angry.Dude, you're getting screwed over. Be proud Euro and start raving and punching people, or take it up in the butt. Your choice.
The new owner of the house is annoying a Bit. The house is big, but nothing works there: toilet, fridge, gas, washing machine. Yesterday, the second day of my stay in this house, I've had another problem. The door of my room never worked well... And there was some paper put in it. Later I learned it's fallen out, and perhaps because of that I could not open my room. I had to go out on the balcony and to another room by the window. Owner of the house fixed it, but he told me that if he hasn't been able to do so, I'd pay for it. I pretended I didn't understand. It was annoying, but more annoying was that when he came in he started moving everything around because he wanted furniture to stay exactly in the place where he's left it. The problem isI can't enter balcony this way.
Also, he was supposed to come today to mend some things and he did not.
I feel completely free to express my opinion. Fortunatelly I'm not very much interested in current politics... but I must say Syrian bureaucracy sucks. It has some advantages, though. By accident they've let me stay 6 months longer than they should've.Why the **** would you go to some ****ty-ass excuse for a country that makes you afraid to express your opinion?
