Plus, we all know that the recommended specs are set low because the game will load up on those PC's, but not necessarily run smoothly. Fact is, if you want to game, you need to buy adequate hardware. Firaxis would be turning off potential customers by setting requirements artificially high just because of possible memory issues the game might have poor PC's. Best to let them buy the game and give them a patch later after you have their money. To us, it is the BEAST.

ACK!Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Well, maybe the memory issues are generally minor , but are magnified on poor PC's because they are so burdened to run the game under nominal conditions.
Some good ideas, flawed execution.

MY Pc is pretty good. Test your computer and you'll notice the leak. Play the game about midway through so that things aren't yet lagging but that lots of different stuff is going on in the game. Make sure you are not experiencing lag then leave the computer running and go to bed. When you come back 10-12 hours later you'll likely notice that the game is super laggy and takes for ever to do anything. Not one turn has passed yet some how the computer is running low on resources just because the game was sitting there over night.

It's wasteful.
