Luebeck, Germany is again having the International Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival with artists from around the world competing to create the best ice sculptures. Looks cool but I'm disappointed they didn't include many more uniquely American Ice Age Animals like the pregenerators of horses, camels, and bison along with animals like the giant three toed sloth. Still it is nice they created things which covered both Eurasia and North America like the Wooly Mammoth and Saber Toothed Cats.

Doesn't Norway create a hotel every winter which is made entirely out of ice?? That should be a winner...even tho they obviously can't tote it down to the contest.
