We are thinking of getting it.
I was wondering if anyone had it.
Is it any good?
I hear good things from people about it.
The package I am looking at comes with 120 channels, 4 rooms, 2 DVR's, and installation is free, etc, etc. For about $53 a month.
The way this is going to work is, currently, our cable and internet is on one bill. It comes packaged together and it is $70. Now, our phone service is about $60 a month. It is from SBC. We get only 200 local minutes. Long distance is extra. It is ass-rapage.
The company we get our cable and internet from, Wide Open West (WOW); they have these packages where you choose 2 out of 3... cable TV, cable internet, or internet phone service. I am going to switch from cable TV and cable internet to cable internet and internet phone. The price will remain the same. I've already checked. And then I will get Dish Network.
So basically, I will be getting better phone service, better TV service... and we will be saving $7-$8 a month.
But I want to know how good this satelite service is.
Does anyone on Poly have Dish Network?
Also, I'm thinking of getting the NHL Center Ice package. It's only $100. No monthly fees or anything.
Since I'm gonna get the DVR's I'll be able to record a lot of the games and I'll watch what I can.
Man, that's a lot of hockey!
