Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

I'm just happy I finally found a place that sells candycanes....

Over here you get Christians marching in the street in protest of Buddha's birthday. Makes me laugh at all the "war against Christiams" Bs...

Neither is offensive, but I generally would just say "Happy Holidays"

it's just polite because you don't know who celebrates what... on Christmas day, to people who celebrate Christmas, you say "Merry Christmas"... every other time, I say "Happy Holidays"

what was the other thread about? I missed it

        edit: okay I see it

Neither. People actually getting offended either way is offensive.

If someone tells me happy holidays I'm going to ask them which holiday it is.

I don't care if I'm not christian, I still expect to be wished a merry christmas.

            But I voted neither.

Neither is offensive. If someone can't take those, it's their problem. If someone starts being hostile because of it, they are the ones offensive and should be beaten to bloody pulp with steel boots and large metal weaponry.

To say that "Merry Christmas" is offensive as pertains to Christmas, is perhaps the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
I get tired of the whineyass minority and their outrage.
