Nope, they're corrupt politicians in bed with land developers

Yeah, but I can't find anything anywhere on the web or in the article to say this guy is a Democrat.
He was on TV and he is a Democrap

How do you figure that one? Anyone seen a good study about which politicians have used E.D. and for what reasons? The only local uses of E.D. I can think of were all Republicans.

Most mayors are Democrats. Eminent domain is a local thing. Therefore, it is likely that most of the time eminent domain is used, the politicians behind it are Democrats.

Eminent domain is a state thing as well.
Eminent domain is a federal thing.
And you wanna know something scary eminent domain is a utility thing. Yep, electric companies can "take" land to build their power lines.

It isn't as Republican as it used to be but it remains majority red.

I should have said the usually, eminent domain is a local thing. Heck, didn't the Feds use something like to give all those right of ways to the railroads back in the 18XXs?

Democrats around here used it to bulldoze a grocery store and a bunch of other businesses to put up a town center.

I voted them all out last month. Sadly no one else did.
