Does anyone know of any Roman Oaths or pledges, for example, upon being elected into the Senate, or to the Emperor/Consul? Preferably with an English translation.

The words "testify" and "testimony" both had something to do with a Roman pledging the future of the family jewels as bond for his word. I have no knowledge of how often this bond was "collected" upon forfeiture, but perhaps this practice explains why Romans were often so "testy" when matters of honor were at stake."I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

Many many many oaths are recorded in Livy.
Generally, anytime a battle goes wrong, the roman commander will make an oath to hold games, build a temple, etc. if the gods grant victory.
For example, Scipio Africanus' oath to hold games and build a temple, etc.
Another common oath was to deposit money in the public treasury or give grain to the plebs, or to reward the soldiers with lands/money."Wait a minute..this isn''t FAUX dive, it's just a DIVE!"
"...Mangy dog staggering about, looking vainly for a place to die."
"sauna stories? There are no 'sauna stories'.. I mean.. sauna is sauna. You do by the laws of sauna." -P.
