    Just look at the table that I posted. In the history of orbital rocketry, only 4,700 launch attempts have occurred. This means the process is more of a novelty than an every day occurrence. Because it's a novelty, it's expensive and unsafe. Because it's expensive and unsafe, it's a novelty.
