Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- A blast at a business center in Pakistan's port city of Karachi today killed at least two people and wounded several others, police said.
The blast occurred about 8:40 a.m. local time in the parking area of central Karachi's PIDC building, which has offices and an outlet of fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken, Sanaullah Abbasi, a duty officer at a local police station, said in a phone interview. ``It could probably be a bomb planted in a car parked outside the building,'' he said.
The PIDC building houses offices including those of the National Bank of Pakistan Ltd. and Pakistan Petroleum Ltd., police said. Several cars are on fire, Abbasi said.
