    Why was the first half of Saved! so good...

    and the second half so bad?

    Or, more precisely (since I know why the second half was so bad), why did the writer give up when he was so close to making a damn fine movie?

    Hell, Mary's performance in that first half was so good that when she finds out she's pregnant, I really felt for her. It's not often you can get me to identify with a stupid teenage girl

    err..because the "Current Political Situation" forced them to massively pull their punches for "La Raison Economique"?

    Kinda the same reason Team America only makes fun of "Leftist" idiot actors....

            Let's talk specifics.

            I said that it only makes fun of 'leftist' stupid actors.

            Where are the stupid right wing actors/celebrities? Scharwz., Miller, etc etc...

            There aren't any. In making fun of the issue of lame no-nothing actors being 'politically active' it is quite one sided.

            Now, that's not to say that the movie as a whole is completely one sided (team america and it's leader are clearly conservative figures getting lampooned), but in its treatment of this particular issue my statement is completely correct.
