Lately I've been mostly recording than watching because I've been busy but:

      West Wing
      Crossing Jordan
      Surface
      Out of Practice
      Gilmore Girls
      Supernatural
      Commander In Chief
      Reunion
      Without A Trace
      Threshold
      Nightline

      And occasionally some other series.

          I don't know...

I fail to understand why an awesome show like that gets cancelled...

but then there are not one, but TWO ****ING APPRENTICE SHOWS...

and how many of these goddamned nanny shows are there now???

seriously... man, I wish there was an alien signal like on Threshold, where it would go through the TV and just blow up the people that watched all that garbage...

Yes you can Sava... There is apparently a niche market for an intelligently done show, whether it is "Over There", "Arrested Development", "Andy Richter Controls the Universe", etc, etc. The masses would rather have something spoonfed to them.

              oh don't get me wrong...

I understand why teh stupid like their dumbass shows...

but the type of people that like "Over There" also like a lot of the other FX shows like The Shield, Rescue Me and maybe even some shows like Rome...

there is definitely an audience out there for shows like this...

and Over There has been "critically acclaimed", for whatever that is worth...

and it started out with good ratings... like 4.1 million viewers... and strangely enough, I didn't start watching Over There until like episode 5 or 6... which is when other people stopped watching it.

So why did people stop watching it?

I don't understand it. I have all the episodes on my hard drive. The season is great IMO.

              sigh

                South Park is still brilliant.
                Teen Titans is pretty cool.
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is wonderful beyond measure.

So why did people stop watching it?

Probably because it dealt with a current war. It was probably a bit too uncomfortable for them to watch.

                    it's possible

but somehow I don't think so...

probably just other stuff on at that time

What time was it on again?

I admit, I did like it, but I always forgot when it was on. I think the reason is with an HDTV, I fail to watch some of the shows I like on non-HD channels. And sometimes I forget. I haven't watched much (if any) Monk or Nip/Tuck this year.

                        Tuesday:
                        -House
-My Name is Earl (funniest new show to come out since... Arrested Development)
-The Office (American version has really become gut busting funny)

-English Premier League (Fox Soccer Channel )

That's my weekly mainstays, but I'll flip around usually when I'm at home to try to catch something good (usually on High-Def... like an HBO movie or some such).
I like Neil Patrick Harris, maybe I should check out how I met your mother. It looked like it might be good.

I forgot about the office. I haven't watched since the first season. Shame on me.

I should watch Lost. Is it too late to get into that show? That's what I worry about. But everyone seems to like it. I think I'd probably like it.

Lost is only on Season2, so I dont think it is too late.
