Don't be ridiculous. They're not trying to surrender.

    They're trying to... not win.

I keep harping on it, but still, at least they have their half of road to DMZ finished, while the North can't even get started.

A professor specializing in the ROK once contended to our class that until very recently, it was in one's interest to have reunification (not the PRC, USA, ROK, or DPRK) that can end really well and doesn't lead to huge problems. Now, however, it seems that the USA supports reunification, but no one else does. This is, of course, a realistic approach since no one would even publicly admit this.

          Winning would be very expensive.

North Korea is lobbying to make starvation an Olympic sport.

                I LOVE Seoul.

I'm pretty much settled in now - I'd like to meet your fiance - you can even come

I live about 2 minutes walk from the Grand Hyatt, very close to Namsan Park/mountain. Its very easy to get to.

When APEC is over lets catch up.

Yeah, that'd be great. What's APEC?

You're pretty close to where I am, I'm right at Apgujeong (i.e. the part of Seoul that tries to be Beverly Hills ).

oh and you should go to the tunnel under the DMZ, nice little hike under there...

Dunno I almost never go on buses. I'm on the third line of the subway (right on the south bank of the river).

There's a buch of bus stations about, I'm sure all of the main lines go through my area. Look on a map for the big-ass Hyundai department store.

The traffic drives me nuts, I much prefer the subways. Easier to read on them...

Okay, you're not far away at all - just across the Hannam bridge.

                              Or should I say "Bridgee".
