Its quite easy to do if you think about it - kid puts lego up nose, can't get it out, pushes it further up trying

I stuck a battery up my nose once. Had to go to the emergency room to get it out.

They dated it from when the child started complaining of nose trouble and saying there was something up his nose. The parents felt really bad because for a long time they didn't believe the child - well who would?

It was an ear nose and throat specialist who finally identified blockage and removed the object. He was the one who said it wasn't that all that uncommon for little kids to have this problem.

I'd say that it is a little uncommon for the thing to be in their for that long though.

Well yes, and since they are friends and neighbours I kind of wish they hadn't told us.

Here's an article about kids putting stuff in their nose and ears.

Kids are stupid. No need to throw research at me proving that.

Once as a little boy I went to get a haircut with my mom at a barber shop. I had quite a lot of hair but it was clean and all, but somehow a fly hade nestled its way in it and after a while a damn fly flew out of my hair as I was getting my hair cut. We never went there again.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars
