The Clinton investigation was about Whitewater. They got him on lying about a blowjob because there wasn't enough proof to get him on the actual crime the investigation was about. The same thing is happening here. We were promised the outting of a CIA agent and all we get is perjury. Lame...

Clinton was impeached for lying about a blowjob. Libby was indicted for lying about outing a CIA agent in order to smear her husband who called the Administration on lying to the American public about evidence justifying a war. Same thing.

      This is just pathetic.

You don't find it amusing that there was no crime until the investigation started?

No, becaused Oerdin is actually informed. If you paid attention to what Fitz said at the press conference, you'd know that he didn't charge Libby on the IIPA or the Espionage Act because he couldn't prove intent.

Isn't that what I said: "No crime"?
        Same thing.
Actually it was. Perjury is perjury.

An apple and a mango are both fruits. That does not mean that an apple is a mango.

Clinton's actions are Libby's actions are the "same thing" only to a partisan hack.

Isn't that what I said: "No crime"?

No crime that Fitz thinks he can prove, yes. I'm still wondering exactly what you find amusing.

Libby should be indicted for writing terrible letters.

Actually, Libby was indicted for lying about how he found out that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA. We still don't know who outed Plame (if such an outing even took place) as Novak's source (Official A) is still unnamed.

Actually it was. Perjury is perjury.

              Yep.

Libby should be indicted for writing terrible letters.

three people close to the investigation, each asking to remain unidentified because of grand jury secrecy, identified Rove as Official A.

And in a story in the washingtonpost today states that Rove is offical A

                      Thanks.

edit: Interesting, but I see no proof that Rove is "Official A". The leaked information may turn out to be true, but I'm hesitant to believe information sourced to anonymous officials, particularly given the history of this case. I guess we'll find out, hopefully soon.

There was reasonable suspecion that a crime was commited. A CIA agent with a history of undercover work had been outed and that is most certainly a crime. Please continue trying to spin things.
