    • The hypocracy is exposed very clearly when the pharmacists who refuse to give women birth control, much less a morning after pill, go and give men the male birth control. I guess they feel women having pre-marital sex are dirty sluts while men are just being boys.

      • You guys are being ******. Patroklos accused her of being a bigot when she said women should have a say over this issue then DinoDoc chimes in with his typical arrogant one line posts which insult another poster.

        • Sorry dino I said it twice didnt mean to repeat myself. or for that matter stress the issue. I see now that most failed to see what i was saying and got stopped when i said men and felt i was men bashing when in fact i wasnt. My main point was to stress that if the pharamcist can not perform his duties he need not do his profession any longer. I for one as a nurse dont have the choice of patients i have to treat. Whether i agree with the choice they make or not. Same as any other person that holds a job. I.E would you expect to see a vegetarian working at mcdonalds telling the customers go home i will not serve you a burger with meat on it?

If you are going to turn tail and run on this, at least do so with your head held high.

I'll help you, what was you point about all men discussing a female issue if not to say their opinion is somehow suspect and/or less valuable?

            Though this...

The whole female issue is only about wether or not you or any othe male inthis thread or profession has the right to deny this woman her valid perscription
Is basically a good a qualifier as any. Of course we do, as much as an woman does anyways.

I amnot sure what constintution you are refering
            Read Imran's posts.

No one is trying to force anyone to do anything. What they have said is if the person chooses to be a pharmacist then they must perform all the aspects of the job.
There are many examples of people not having to do everything under their profession because of moral considertations. Even more important there are exceptions for people not to fullfill their civic duties due to moral reasons.

Medically your reasoning is stupid, because doctors do not even have to help you period unless your life is in immediate danger.

Only if they refuse to sell females male birth control. I would consider condoms pretty nuetral as far as birth control.

That is not what she said. She implied, and then said, that becasue there was no woman in the discussion that the opinions are somhow less valid. Are you smart enough not to step on this land mine Oerdin?

Except for the fact that that isn't the discussion anymore and hasn't been for a while. The discussion NOW is whether a pharmacy (say a Catholic pharmacy) should be allowed to not stock the drug, and perhaps direct you to another pharmacy for that drug.

Doctors for one. They don't have to do **** as long as they are not discriminating. They can deny someone life saving care as long as the threat is not immediate.

Nobody can force, nor can you discriminate, against a doctor who will not take a person off life support.

Catholic hospitals are a good already mentioned (and convieniently ignored by you) example.

And of course we make convenient outs for Quakers and others when it comes to the draft.

                      • Pat i am not turning tail and running for i see one again you have failed to read what i have said and simply insist on defining what you are thinking. you quoting me by asking me if any woman should be denied her valid perscripton by a man can work both ways. I see no logical resaon for this particular pharmacist that happens to be a man to deny this woman he script. You can call me what ya want i dont care but why not stop to read what i said before you stoop to name calling. And by read i mean read and not assume what i say.

As far as the drs that your refering to here well lets see how bout mentiont he folks that come in non insured do u think the drs treat them and send them out if they need emergent surgery? If so tell me the hospital you work in that way i can notify jacho to visit them and rvoke their license. Drs have to perform surgery on all types of patiens whether they agree with then or not and regradless if they have insurance
