When I first joined Poly, you OTers said that I would soon be seduced by the Off Topic and that I would forget all about this civ thing. I didn't believe. And then Civ 3 came out. And I was so disappointed. And the Off Topic ensnared me. Now there is Civ 4. And I'm back on topic. Hopefully I'll stick around this time. It's a civ forum, people. Brilliant! Maybe next week we can go back to the popular 'doom-theory' from the 70's - that greenhouse emissions would cause another ice-age.However, they said that the thickening seemed consistent with theories of global warming, blamed by most experts on a build-up of heat-trapping gases from burning fossil fuels in power plants, factories and cars.
The whole thing is pseudo-science (at best).
We should curb greenhouse gas emissions over the next decades for health reasons not for some bizzare (pet) theory.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
