      80-90 mph works out as ... 38m/s in real units. That shouldn't cause too much trouble.

              Keep your nasty weather for yourselfs!

              January this year, one of those storms ruined the dock in my garden (apart from felling 100 million trees in Sweden)

                  There probably aren't 100 million trees in all of the British isles, so they need not worry.

                  That storm totally demolished a villa (by dropping a large tree on it) a few hundred meters from where my parents live. Luckily, the inhabitants were away.

                            I somehow don't think that the UK government will be asking for international aid though. It's not that serious when compared to what the countries around the Caribbean have suffered lately.
