Good news gents--if this holds up, NYE might actually get a loss in a stat or two this week!


EDIT: Actually, it appears that after tonight, I will have swung from a 5-0 deficit to a 4-3 lead.

I benched Ryan Miller figuring he was playing the Rangers (who have been scoring lots of goals)...

well Miller beats the Rangers letting in only 1 goal and saves 95.7%...



Luongo doesn't play because Ottawa and Florida are postponed because of the hurricane. But I was going to bench him also. Ottawa is dangerous.

Oh well... I did get a good night from my Boston players...

Samsonov and Leetch get 2 PPP's each...

Briere gets a goal

Gomez and Sturm are big 0's for tonight...

hopefully Bertuzzi and Ohlund can get something though...

Ward did not get a shutout - he only faced one shot in four minutes before being getting injured and was replaced by Gerber. Actually, it is unfortunate that his perfect stats for playing four minutes count - that really skews things.

I'm fairly certain that his stats will be prorated for those 4 minutes.

Perhaps the news regarding NYE is not so good after all, comrades.

EDIT: Although, given Marty's strong game, it will probably be 3-3-1. Dammit, that's two goalies I have injured now...
