  • Asterix and the used horse.

You know when asterix was in Rome and there was this used horse salesman with the colgate smile and a superduper horse? So asterix and ovelix bought it but then it started raining and the paint of the horse went off?

How can this be applicable to a car?

Because I put on the how do you say? cap on top of the car but it was wet and when I took the cap off the car the day after, some parts of the color of the car seem blurry.

Doesn't show too much but it's still a bit weird?

How could this be? There was no metalic layer on top of the paint? The paint job wasn't done correctly?

    you have a convertable

    probably a hard top

    you put it on

it got rained on, or wetted

    you take it off

the paint is all messed up

I have a friend who had a tree fall on his car, it got fixed and repainted. Now, every time a bird craps on it the paint gets all bubbly.

    My guess; cheap paint
    Monkey!!!

      you are right.

and so I fear (so much) that the only solution is a all out full correct paint job for all the car. Which I won't do.

Oh well. Ok it's not terribly tragic.

      Thanks for the info

BTW the car was hit in the past. They told me. So they probably did a poor paint job on the parts that was hit. Probably.
