Supposedly two of Cheney's top aids have agreed to testify in exchange for immunity. Also there is a story floating around in the main stream media about Cheney and Rove having a meeting about the Plame leak before the leak actually happened.

DC is supposedly crackling with speculation about who will be the next to be indicted.

      THAT is cool

Their aides probably realized what an evil bastard he is and couldn't live with their concious any more. Or maybe they just want to save themselves. Or maybe a combination of both.

He really is an evil bastard.

I'm even wondering if his heart condition was played up to get him sympathy.

You know, how old men aren't seen as threatening because they are physically weaker.

I wouldn't put it past them.

I can't help but think about all those mafia dons who suddenly came down with medical conditions once that charges were filed.

I'd say Cheney's condition is real but he really is a son of a ***** for funneling those contracts to Haliburton and not disclosing (as he was supposed to do) the millions he made in the process. All along he kept denying he had options or shares then... oppsies... it turned up he had $8 million worth. I can see how $8 million could slip someones mind for five years.

Rove and Cheney are supposedly in a little war of leaks with the media trying to paint the other as the bad guy. With two Sith lords fighting each other the forces of good can only profit.

If that Rove vs. Cheney thing is true, that is the best thing ever.

Each is at an extreme level of bastardly evilness, perhaps they will destroy each other.

Kinda like when that 15 foot python tried to eat that alligator and his stomach blew up after the alligator clawed his way out of it.

EDIT: Oerdin already made a better analogy

Now you've done it: I keep picturing Dick Cheney as Fred Sanford.

He could be, but likely won't be.
